Description

Plank Foam Sheet - Used for lining cases. This is a polyethylene-based foam, which is fairly rigid in nature. Dark charcoal grey (almost black) in color, and very resilient. It may be used for any case lining situation, and is commonly used in the bottoms of cases for supporting excess weight. This is also a great foam for interiors that will take a certain amount of abuse by items with rough or sharp edges, or loose items, such as stands, light fixtures, tools, etc. This is also an excellent foam to use in shock-mount style rack cases, or any case design that has an enclosure "floating" within case walls.

COMMONLY USED IN AREAS OF A CASE THAT WILL BE SUPPORTING SUBSTANTIAL WEIGHT THAT WILL BE RESTING ON TOP OF IT!

Great stuff. Used in a road case for a pair of JBL VT4886's and it's perfect. Definitely professional class material. Very pleased with it and the price was affordable.

Great stuff -- I have ordered it twice. The first batch was perfect. The second piece was a tiny bit thinner than before. Made no difference -- works just as well. Some variance during manufacturing is just going to happen sometimes -- so I really think it was an anomaly. I would not hesitate to order this foam again! Really good stuff.

There are so many different types of foam, it's so hard to be sure. This is great foam.
