1923 - PIANO HINGE - 1.5" / continuous steel

Steel Continuous Hinge (AKA Piano Hinge) - This 1.5"-when-open hinge provides for full-length, side-to-side, coverage for attaching your lid to the body of your case for smoothness of operation and superior strength. This hinge installs over the top of our hybrid tongue & groove extrusion. 

NOTE: CUTTING YOUR CONTINUOUS HINGE IN NO WAY AFFECTS IT'S EFFECTIVENESS, STRENGTH OR INTEGRITY. SIMPLY BUTT THE CUT SEAMS TOGETHER AS NEEDED AND RIVET INTO PLACE. THE SAME GOES IF YOU NEED TO MAKE ADDITIONAL CUTS ONCE YOU RECEIVE THE HINGE SECTIONS. *ALSO, IF YOU ORDER ALSO CONTAINS EXTRUSIONS AND YOU SELECT A CUT OPTION FOR YOUR HINGE THAT MAKES YOUR HINGE LONGER THAN THE CUT OPTION THAT YOU SELECTED FOR THE EXTRUSIONS IN YOUR ORDER, YOUR HINGE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CUT TO FIT INTO THE TUBE WITH YOUR EXTRUSIONS.

Rivets Required For Installation: Depends on the length you end up using. Mounting holes are spaced 2 inches apart from end to end.

Depending on your case design and dimensions, some rivets may require backing washers. Some rivets will install through the aluminum extrusions and therefore require no backing washers.

THIS ITEM REQUIRES NO CUTOUTS IN THE CASE WALL TO INSTALL.
