Description
Galvanized Stee Lid Stay - Installs to the lid and body on either side of a case interior to prevent the lid from flopping over backwards when open. This is the ultimate in strength. Made from hi-strength aircraft cable. Your case wall will fail before this thing!
Rivets Required For Installation: 2 each stay / 4 total for a pair
Even though the stays have loop on either end for rivet installation, backing washers that are slightly larger in diameter than the loops are recommended.
THIS ITEM REQUIRES TWO DRILLED INSTALLATION HOLES (4 TOTAL FOR THE PAIR) IN THE CASE WALL TO INSTALL.

Best Option!!
This is the best option if you are not using one of the hinged or recessed lid stays. This is wayyyyyy better than the nylon one for large lids like on utility trunk style cases.
