Rivets Required For Installation: 4 OUR RIVETS DO NOT FIT THESE HOLES - SMALLER DIAMETER RIVETS MUST BE PURCHASED AT YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE STORE
Rivets may require backing washers depending on your case design and method of installation. Any rivets inserting through aluminum extrusions will not require a backing washer.
THIS ITEM REQUIRES NO CUTOUTS IN THE CASE WALLS TO INSTALL.

very difficult to rivet
You will not be able to get the mandrel of any rivet gun to seat the heads into the countersunk holes. I've tried putting backing washers on the face, but they extend beyond the hole, leaving your rivet to float. End result: the latches seem to tighten down okay, but the catch will not. It will just sit and rattle. You need some sort of washer that is 1/8" hole with just under a 1/4" OD. Not something you'll find very readily. Ironically, even with the catch plate loose, it will close your case. They look good, work well, but sheer hell to install. Good luck.
