    Goog Quality, Hard to Turn

Posted by Unknown on 18th May 2013

Butterfly handle is too small for leverage. ::::::::::::::::::::: DIY Road Cases® Response ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: We are sorry that you experienced difficulties, however, we have never had any negative feedback regarding any of our latches regarding the butterfly handle, and they all use the same butterfly, except for the very small latches. These latches have been made the same way by our manufacturer for decades for case companies worldwide. Are you sure that there isn't some sort of problem with the twist-latch mechanism? I would love to send you an email to get more details, or send out a replacement, but you did not identify yourself in any way to help me search for your order. Unfortunately, that latch has been part of orders for over 200 customers in the past 60 days, so there is no way I could possible determine who you are in order to contact you. Best wishes, Jonathan Beacon Director of Sales & Merchandising DIY Road Cases®

    Cool Alternative To Recessed

Posted by MC Master Mix on 12th Jun 2010

I give this 4 stars only because recessed latches is still the best way to go. However, this latch is a REALLY cool alternative to recessed twist latches. It installs quickly compared to recessed latches, and gives your case that "flight case" look without all of the work of cutting out holes in your case panels for the dishes on recessed latches. This looks wayyyyyyy cooler than the typical surface-mount latches.
