6mm, 9mm & 12mm Thick Plywood With Fiberglass Laminate - Plywood sheet laminated with black, or colored, Fiberglass sheet. Since the purpose of DIY Road Cases® is to make building bona fide, factory-quality, ATA-style flight cases very affordable, we do not suggest fiberglass laminations. We won't go into all of the technical mumbo-jumbo, but fiberglass has its specific purposes for particular requirements. This comes at a cost substantially more than ABS laminate. Is one better than the other? Not for 98% of typical road & flight case applications. ABS laminates are the industry standard. However, if you have a specific need for fiberglass laminate, then we provide the most affordable option.

IMPORTANT!: THIS ITEM MUST SHIP VIA FREIGHT AND WILL INCUR SUBSTANTIAL ADDITIONAL CHARGES. THEREFORE, THE FINAL SHIPPING COST WILL BE SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER THAN THE SHIPPING COST ASSESSED DURING CHECKOUT DUE TO THE FACT THAT LAMINATED PLYWOOD SHEETS CANNOT SHIP VIA UPS GROUND. UNFORTUNATELY THIS TYPE OF SHIPPING COST CANNOT BE FULLY ASSESSED DURING CHECKOUT DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF VARIABLES ASSOCIATED WITH IT. WE WILL CONTACT YOU REGARDING ADDITIONAL CHARGS  REQUIRED PRIOR TO SHIPPING TO SEE IF YOU APPROVE THE ADDITIONAL CHARGE OR WANT TO CONSIDER ANOTHER OPTION.

PLEASE BE SURE OF YOUR WALL THICKNESS BEFORE ORDERING! Laminated plywood being returned if you "change your mind" after receiving it is very expensive due to a variety of logistic, and potential product condition issues. You will be responsible for the cost of return freight shipment (very expensive). You will also be responsible for the 25% restocking fee, which can get pricey due to the cost of plywood laminates. ALSO, your refund will be subject to our Quality Control acceptance of the returned panels. ANY DAMAGE WHATSOEVER that renders the sheet useless to us for re-sale will forfeit your refund - ALL AT OUR QUALITY CONTROL'S STRICT DISCRETION. So, unless you have the proper shipping materials and banding equipment for shipping 4 x 8 plywood sheets, we seriously recommend that you reconsider returning plywood panels.
