M865007 - Composite Sheet / 1/4" Thick

Super Flite HD™ Composite Sheet - Not as light as our Ultra Lite Flite™, but still 30% lighter than its comparable wood thickness. For smaller cases in production runs, this extra-strong composite design is used in situations where more strength is required from a composite, while still affording weight reduction. A bit more dense than our Ultra Lite Flite™, this composite panel is not cheap, but if your budget is secondary to making your case as light as and strong as possible, then this is for you. Plastic is used in situations where eliminating weight is the main concern. Ultra Lite Flite™ composite panel is not cheap, but if your budget is secondary to making your case as light as possible, then this is for you. Since the purpose of DIY Road Cases® is to build bona fide, factory-quality, ATA-style flight cases, we do not suggest Composite Sheet for heavy-duty applications, very large cases, or cases that will have a significant amount of weight inside. However, if you have a specific need for this, then Lite Flite™ panels are the top of the line way to go for maximum weight reduction.
